The AMG-KERNEL agricultural firm was founded in 1999. In 2002, AMG-Kemel invested in the purchase of agricultural land. At present, the company owns over 6000 ha of agricultural land, mostly located in the Soroca district, near the Nistru river, thus benefiting from favorable conditions for irrigation. Our main activity is the production and marketing of Greek walnut seedlings and the creation of multiannual walnut plantations. AMG-KERNEL owns a nursery with an annual capacity of 300,000 local varieties, approved in Moldova and recorded in the Register of Varieties and Plants of RM, such as: Chisinau, Cazacu, Calarasi, Kogalniceanu. AMG-KERNEL also patented 2 superintensive walnut varieties, Taisia and Timofei, with lateral fructification, resistant to diseases and frost, from which a much higher yield is obtained. As regards the multiannual walnut plantations, presently the company owns over 800 ha of walnut orchards.
